A late 18th century style antique pine boarded lambing chair.
Characteristic in design and construction to those found in the Orkney Islands.
With a winged-back over a plank seat flanked either side with shaped arms and single drawer below fitted with a single turned wooden handle, supported overall on four stile feet.
In original paint.
Condition – as per the images. Surface wear commensurate with age. This is a chair that is both useable and decorative.
