A rare survivor from the late 18thC / early 19thC.
A pair of child’s leather boots dating back to the latter years of King George III.
English origin.
Provenance: From the private collection of a gentleman of Spitalfields, London.
Made by hand and most likely for a child from a wealthy background.
The shoes bear a stamp to the underside of each sole.
These would look great to dress a period room.
Condition – surface wear as per the images. One tassel is missing to the front of the left boot. Further information is available upon request.
