Description
A rare pair of mid-17th Century Dutch antique “Heemskirk” tapersticks of small proportions.
Each is made in four parts with a slightly flared candle sconce with two ejection apertures over a knopped stem, a circular drip pan with a raised rim, and supported overall on a raised circular foot.
Lovely patination to the surfaces which has been acquired with the passing of time.
Condition – Please refer to the images. The surface of the metal overall has been allowed to oxidize. A detailed condition report is available upon request.
