Description
A pair of 19th Century Gothic Revival antique carved oak rampant lions supported on rectangular plinth bases.
Each bearing a polychromed shield with the initials “R” and “H” in Gothic script.
Provenance: Sourced from a private Italian-based collection.
Condition – surface wear is commensurate with age. There are losses to both lions’ tails however these do not detract from the overall carvings which still display very well. Please refer to the images.
