Pair of 17th Century Antique Brass Heemskirk Candlesticks

A charming pair of 17th Century antique brass candlesticks of typical “Heemskirk” form.

Each with a candle sconce featuring a characteristic “pricket hole” over double baluster stem and central drip pan supported on a raised circular foot. These can be distinguished from the later copies given the minor casting flaws in the brass surface, peened stems and spun bases (both apparent to the underside of the base).
