Description
An 18thC English antique blue and white delftware tankard.
Decorated in underglaze blue with a central cartouche depicting birds perched upon an urn surrounded with foliage. With a shaped handle and supported on a pewter foot rim.
Condition – There are minor rim frits. There is a very feint hairline to the back of the body. This is stable. The tankard displays well. Please refer to the images. A further detailed condition report is available upon request.
