A mid 17thC English antique carved oak panel of elongated form.

Carved with a lunette frieze, roundels and dated “1657”.

This panel/rail once formed the top frieze of a coffer/chest now long since lost.

Condition – surface wear commensurate with age. Please refer to the images. This panel displays very well.
