A mid 17thC German antique stoneware bellarmine jug or bartmannkrug, circa 1650.

In typical “tiger glaze”.

The elongated neck decorated with a typical bearded mask over a decorative medallion below.

Condition – as per the images. With traces of restoration to the neck and part of the body. This has been done exceptionally well and is almost undetectable.  The jug displays very well.
