A large and impressive pair of 17th Century antique polychrome-painted standing candlesticks, circa 1680.
Continental origin.
Each with a baluster-turned pillar, with scrolled supports at the base and triform sledge feet, green-painted with ochre highlights and acanthus leaf decoration.
Provenance – Ex Simonini collection
Condition – As per the images. Surface wear is commensurate with age. A further detailed condition report is available upon request.
