Description
A late medieval period English antique carved stone head of a man, depicted wearing a hat.
The head appears to be carved from sandstone.
This head may well have formed part of the external decoration to a window or doorway which is now long since lost.
Provenance – From a private Yorkshire-based collection.
Condition – surface wear is commensurate with age (weathered). Please refer to the images. This displays very well. A further detailed condition report is available upon request.
