There are primitive chairs and then there are PRIMITIVE CHAIRS!

Found in a property in the Northwest of England, we simply had to acquire this chair!

Late 18th Century in origin, with a shaped cresting rail and spindle back, shaped arms and the most wonderfully worn seat, over shaped legs (each side with stretcher) and shaped rockers.

Condition – Later white paint removed (aside the underside of the seat) to reveal the original period green and blue paint.  The rockers have been replaced at some point during their life and the colour has been re-matched in.
