A lovely late 18thC Welsh antique pine boarded box or bible box with traces of original paint and applied decoration to the lid too.
Plank and nail construction with applied moulding to the base.
With its original iron lock plate, hasp and hinges.
The lid opens to reveal a void interior.
Condition – as per images. Surface wear commensurate with age. This box displays very well.
