Description
A lovely 17th Century English antique oak joint stool.
Peg-joined construction.
The plank top with thumbnail edge over a plain apron with carved lower edge. Supported by four turned legs of baluster form united by stretchers.
Good colour and patination.
Condition – surface wear is commensurate with age. There are traces of old worm but this has long since been eradicated and has also been treated too as a precautionary measure. All joints as sound and this stool is readily useable.
