A charming yet naively carved candle box of open rectangular form.

Late 17th Century / early 18th Century.

English origin.

Nailed construction.

With a shaped wall plate with decorative carved detail. The front and sides also carved with geometric forms incorporating roundels, lozenges and a central cross motif.

Condition – as per the images. Good overall. A further detailed condition report is available upon request.
