Description

A late 15thC German antique carved oak sculpture of a female Saint, swathed in robes with a veil resting upon her head.

Possibly depicting The Virgin Mary.

German origin.

With substantial remains of original paint/polychrome.

Condition – as per images. Surface wear is commensurate with age and there are losses to both arms. Please refer to the images. A further condition report is available upon request.
