Late 15th Century / Early 16th Century Antique Carved Oak Fragment / Rail Depicting Foliage and Fruit

A late 15thC / Early 16thC antique carved oak fragment. Beautifully carved with foliage and fruit.

This carving most probably formed the decorative moulding/pediment to a period piece of furniture now long since lost.

Condition – surface wear commensurate with age. Please refer to the images. This panel displays very well.
