Large Mid-19th Century English Antique Folk Art Salt-glazed Money Box in the form of a Church

 

A large and impressive rare mid-19thC English antique folk-art salt-glazed stoneware money box in the form of a parish church.

The tower with coin aperture to the top is decorated with a clock dial and door below and stylised stonework, the nave depicted with two lancet-type windows and a gable roof.

Condition – as per images. Minor glaze losses/fritting to the front as per the images.  These do not detract and the piece stills display incredibly well. A further detailed condition report is available upon request.
