Description
A Georgian Period English antique wrought iron floor-standing adjustable candle holder, circa 1800.
Attributed to Sussex, England.
With a plain stem with a sprung iron tensioner that carries a single rushlight holder and a single rolled sconce and drip pan.
Supported on a wooden ripod base.
Condition – As per the images. The sprung iron tensioner still has sufficient resistance to hold the candle holder at any level up and down the shaft. This remains a useable candleholder.
