An early to mid 17thC German antique stoneware bellarmine jug or bartmannkrug, circa 1625-1650.
In salt glaze.
The elongated neck decorated with a typical bearded mask over a decorative floral medallion below.
Condition – as per the images. There is a frit to the string rim. The jug displays very well.
