A lovely George III Period English antique comb back windsor armchair.
Early 19thC, circa 1800. Attributed to the West-Country.
Constructed from ash and elm.
With a shaped cresting rail over a spindle back with single bow which forms the arm rest. The bow is supported again by spindles and bent-wood supports to the front. The seat-board is formed from elm and below, there are four turned legs united by an “H” stretcher.
An absolutely lovely colour and great patination.
Condition – very good as per the images.
