An early 19thC antique vernacular stool. This would also make a suitable cricket table of small size or or even a candlestand or lamp stand.
Constructed from what appears to be ash.
English origin.
With a chunky circular plank top with line-turning to the outer edge supported on a tri-form base with three splayed legs united by a stretcher.
Peg-joined construction.
Condition – As per the images.Β The legs have been re-glued to the underside of the seat board by the previous owner. This repair cannot be seen from the upper surface.
