Description
An early 17th Century diminutive iron, Nuremberg-made, antique table top casket / strongbox. In original condition.
The front applied with a decorative escutcheon, the top with an applied floral decoration made from iron, flanked by a carry handle.
The box opens to reveal an interior void of any fittings.
The front lock does function with the use of an associated period key (image not supplied).
Supported overall on four original ball feet.
