An early 17th Century English antique oak armchair, circa 1620.
With a shaped and carved top rail above a single panelled back incised with a lozenge;Β a solid two-part plank seat is flanked by shaped arms and turned legs united by rectangular peripheral stretchers.
Condition – good overall as per the images. The back and front legs have been re-tipped. The rear stretcher has also been replaced at some point in its life. A further detailed condition report is available upon request.
