The cupboard is painted in a red-oxide type paint of the period. With a shaped pediment painted with the date “1828” over a single door decorated with painted detail with a shaped plinth base below.

The door opens to reveal an interior painted with its original green paint and a single shelf.

The lock and key still function.

Verso, the original single iron hanging hook (ring) remains.

Condition – good as per the images. There are some minor paint losses hence the exposure of a thin white gesso layer underneath the original paint. This cupboard displays very well. A further detail condition report is available upon request.
