A fine late 17thC English School antique oil on canvas half-length portrait of an aristocratic lady portrayed within a roundel.
Depicted wearing a silk dress.
The sitter is unknown.
The portrait is unsigned and the artist is unknown but has been undertaken by a very accomplished hand.
Presented in a contemporary carved wooden frame with gilt inner-slip frame. Whilst not of the period, the frame compliments the painting.
