Description

A 17th Century French antique warming pan.

The metal has obtained a wonderful colour over many years.

With a turned fruitwood handle of elongated form, terminating with a circular bronze pan, the hinged lid decorated with piercing, punchwork and engraved decoration. The centre of the lid incorporates an inlaid copper fleur-di-lis.  The lid opens to reveal a pan void of any fittings.
