Description
A 19thC Welsh antique oak smokers cabinet.
With a shaped wall-plate and shaped horizontal pipe rack with seven apertures at the top to accommodate seven smokers pipes. A knopped supporting column unites both the rack and cabinet below. The single cabinet door is decorated in fine folk-art style with a carved matchbox and matches, pipe and tobacco pouch. Each side comprises a fielded panel. A hook serves as a catch to keep the door closed. The interior is fitted with a single shelf.
This cabinet has a lot of charm.
