Description
A 19thC antique bronze smoker’s pipe.
Most probably of Continental origin.
With a shaped stem and shank (the stem with hanging hoop), the bowl is shaped as a bearded gentleman’s head wearing a hat with a finial below, with a single chamber which is accessed through the top of his hat.
The stem detaches from the bowl.
Condition – good as per the images. There is a very minor solder repair to the base of the shank where it meets the stem. The repair does not detract from the pipe which displays very well. A further condition report is available upon request.
Size: The length from the tip of the stem to the bowl is 7″.
