19th Century English Antique Salt-glazed Stoneware Pottery Pistol-Shaped Whisky Flask by Stephen Green, Imperial Potteries, Lambeth, London, Circa 1831-1858

 

A 19th Century English antique stoneware pistol flask with a hollow barrel.

Used originally as a whisky flask where a cork stopper would be placed at the end of the barrel.

Decorated in salt glaze.

There is an impressed makers mark of “Stephen Green, Imperial Potteries, Lambeth” on the top of the flask. The factory produced earthenware from 1828 to 1831 in Lambeth, Greater London, and also made stoneware from 1831 to 1858.

Condition – as per the images. In good condition. There are no traces of restoration or cracks. A further detailed condition report is available upon request.
