19th Century English Antique Country-Made Rustic Stool

19th Century English Antique Country-Made Rustic Stool

A charming English antique country-made rustic stool.

19thC in date.

The ovoid-shaped seat actually made out of a former cheese press hence three drainage holes which are still in situ and a central pegged hole which was no doubt used to accommodate a wooden shaft to join the press together with the rest of the pressing mechanism!

Supported on a tripod base.

Lovely colouration.

Condition – as per the images. The stool is sturdy and ready to be used. A further detailed condition report is available upon request.
