18th Century English Antique Toleware Lantern

An 18th Century English antique toleware lantern.

With a hanging hoop over a conical lid with decorative cut-out vents and below, an elongated body with light apertures glazed with bovine horn and a single door which opens to reveal and interior fitted with a single candlesconce. elongated stem, and single conical candle sconce.

Condition – Good as per the images. There is surface wear and pitting to the metal surface which is commensurate with age. The horn is in tact. A further detailed condition report is available upon request.
