A 17thC English antique oak and elm wall cupboard or mural cupboard of rectangular form.
Plank and nailed construction.
With a plain plank top and single elm door carved with swags and a central rosette, fitted with a drop handle and large iron lock plate. The door is flanked either side with gouge carved elm uprights. The door is joined to the carcass by way of iron hinges. Internally, the interior is fitted with two shelves. The cupboard terminates on a plain plank plinth base.
Superb colour too.
Condition – good as the per the images. The lock mechanism has been replaced at some point during its life and the hinges also.
