A 17thC carved oak panel or term.

Possibly Flemish origin.

With a lion mask to the pediment over an inverted flower and winged cherubs head below, terminating with a carved acanthus leaf.

Verso, the carving bears an old Bonhams Auction lot label.

Provenance: From the private collection of the late Richard Miller – a renowned Suffolk-based antiques dealer.

Condition – as per the images. There are minor surface losses commensurate with age. The panels display very well.
