An antique carved oak “Romayne” portrait panel dating back to the 17th Century.
Flemish origin. Markings verso indicate that this may well have originally been a door front.
The panel depicts a head and shoulders portrait of a male figure with long flowing hair, surrounded by figurative scroll work.
