Description
A 16thC antique carved oak Gothic tracery fragment of triangular form.
Possibly once forming part of the pediment of a screen now long since lost.
English origin.
The centre with leaf and bud design, set within a trefoil, flanked with a dagger to each side.
Condition – surface wear commensurate with age. A minor loss to the top has been repaired with oak. This panel displays very well.
