16th Century Spanish Antique Carved Wooden Sculpture of Saint Peter

A 16thC Spanish antique carved wooden sculpture depicting Saint Peter sitting wearing a Papal Crown.

With traces of original polychrome and gilding.

This may well have been part of a larger figure group which has been long since lost.

Condition – as per images. Surface wear is commensurate with age. The figure lacks his hands. Please refer to the images. A further condition report is available upon request.
