A 15thC antique carved oak Gothic tracery head fragment, circa 1480.
English origin.
Possibly once forming part of a rood screen now long since lost.
Decorated with foliate and floral corner spandrels and tracery. With traces too of original polychromy (paint).
Condition – surface wear commensurate with age. Please refer to the images. A further detailed condition report is available upon request.
