A 15thC / late medieval period antique carved limestone finial of Gothic design.
English origin – Possibly East Anglian given the influence of the poppy head design.
Presented on a later wooden stand with steel support.
Provenance – From a private Derbyshire-based collection.
Condition – surface wear is commensurate with age (weathered). Please refer to the images. This displays very well. A further detailed condition report is available upon request.
