This fine panel has proved very difficult to photograph due to the glass plate!
Sourced within North Norfolk, panels of this size, very reminiscent of a hatchment, rarely come on to the market.
This fine late 18th Century Coat of Arms is that of George III and may well been used as a coaching panel.
Presented behind glass in a period gesso frame, the images don't quite give this the full justice it deserves.
It does however have real presence and displays very well.
Condition - the colours of the Arms are good. This panel is offered in country house condition hence there are minor gesso losses to the frame.
