A rare 16th Century Dutch antique brass capstan candlestick.

Identifiable as English with the thinner alloy in comparison to its Spanish and Dutch counterparts.

With large cast sconce and ejection apertures above a spun bell-shaped base.

Condition - all in all good.  There is a minor loss to the foot and some age related thinning as one would expect given 450+ years of life!
